As your students go from middle school to high school they will
see that the hot lunch program offers more options. Along with the main
meal, we have 'a la carte at breakfast and also at lunch. If they
prefer, students may choose a chef salad in place of the main
entrée. Each student is offered the main meal, which is $1.85 for elementary and $1.90 for MS/HS,
or they may have just the 'a la
carte entrée and a milk
for the same price. For the students who qualify for free or reduced
meals, they need to have money put into their accounts for any 'a la
carte items. The 'a la carte items
are not offered as a free or reduced meal. Students may borrow
for 'a la carte from another student but not for a lunch.
The high school cafeteria offers breakfast for 1.05. Free and
reduced high school students can eat breakfast in the high school
cafeteria as well. There are also 'a la carte breakfast items to buy.
For breakfast we offer milk, cereal, muffins, bagels, healthy snacks,
fruit, yogurt, water, juices, and Gatorade. For dinner we offer the
same 'a la carte items, without the muffins, bagels or cereal.
