Physics is a 4th year elective science course. It is necessary
for college programs requiring physics in particular, or a 4th year of
high school science.
Course Description: Physics
is the study of the interaction of matter and energy. Major
topics in physics include the study and analysis of motion, forces and
wave-pattern behavior. Math is an important part of the physics
curriculum since all physics concepts are interpreted and analyzed
mathematically. Students need a working knowledge of algebra and
trigonometry in order to be successful in the course. Lab work is
an intefral part of physics and is included in the grading along with
daily work, quizzes and tests.
