Considerations:    Chemistry is a 3rd year science course.  It is necessary for college programs requiring chemistry in particular, or a 3rd year of high school science.

Course Description:    Chemistry is the study of the struture and properties of matter.  The first part of chemistry involves interpretting atomic structures and the periodic table.  The second part of the course involves interpreting atomic structures and the periodic table.  The second part of the course focuses on using previous knowledge to create and analyze chemical formulas, bonds and reactions.  Organic chemistry is also included in the grading along with daily work, projects, quizzes and tests.
